Jordan and Sara’s Maravilla Gardens wedding was full of the kinds of details that make a celebration feel personal. Soft spring flowers, a patterned suit, pink shoes, and a garden full of sunshine came together beautifully for their April wedding in Camarillo.
As one of Maravilla Gardens’ preferred photographers, I love sharing what this venue can look like through a real wedding day. Jordan and Sara’s photos are such a lovely example: lush greenery around their first look, roses framing their evening portraits, and pastel flowers that felt right at home in the gardens.
Spring Wedding Details with Personality
Their palette mixed soft pink, peach, pale blue, and white with plenty of green. Sara’s bouquet by Yamaguchi Flowers brought those colors together with delicate blue flowers, roses, and textured accents. Against her clean, strapless gown, the flowers had room to stand out.

Jordan’s look added another layer of color and texture. His dark floral-patterned suit was paired with a ribbon tie, yellow suspenders, and pale pink shoes. Even the inside collar held a personal touch: the embroidered words “I Am Because We Are.”

Sara’s white sneakers with pale blue ribbon laces were another sweet detail. Alongside their personalized vow books and wooden ring box, these little pieces helped tell the story of the day before the two of them even stepped in front of the camera together.
For couples gathering garden wedding inspiration, this is a lovely way to approach a color palette. Repeating a few shades across flowers and accessories can bring everything together while still leaving space for individual style.
Getting Ready at Maravilla Gardens
The getting-ready photographs hold a quieter part of the story. Jordan adjusted his cuffs and ribbon tie, then spent a moment with his vow book. With hair and makeup by L.A Glamm, Sara’s finishing touches included a softly curled updo with white floral hair accessories and delicate jewelry.

Window light and the simple lines of her gown made for beautiful bridal portraits. I love keeping room in a wedding gallery for these smaller moments: hands fastening the back of a dress, a close view of an accessory, or a pause before heading outside.

Those photographs sit so naturally alongside the wider garden images. Together, they show both the setting and the people getting ready to celebrate in it.

A First Look Surrounded by Greenery
Their first look took place beside the garden foliage. Sara walked up behind Jordan and reached for his shoulder, and his smile as he turned toward her is one of my favorite moments in this part of the gallery.

We followed that sequence with portraits among the greenery. Some frames show the full sweep of Sara’s train and the garden around them; others come in closer for an embrace or the texture of Jordan’s suit.

The mix of digital and film photographs gives this part of the story another beautiful layer. The film images bring a soft, nostalgic feel to familiar details, from Sara’s bridal portrait to the two of them together outdoors.

Dusty Blue and Rose Wedding Party Style
The wedding party brought the spring colors into the portraits, with dusty blue dresses and rose-colored suits against the garden greenery.

A Flower-Filled Garden Ceremony Setting
The ceremony space continued the spring palette with a chuppah dressed in greenery and white, peach, pink, and pale blue flowers. Rows of wooden chairs lined the garden aisle, with tall trees and hedges surrounding the setting.

Their vow books and framed ketubah were meaningful details to include in the story alongside the floral design. The wider photographs give a sense of the whole ceremony space, while the closer images let those smaller elements shine.

It is a beautiful example of using flowers to complement a garden venue. The arrangements added color while keeping the greenery around them part of the design.

Golden-Hour Portraits in the Rose Garden
Later portraits brought Jordan and Sara into the rose garden as the light softened. Flowers in the foreground, warm light through the trees, and a little movement gave these images a different feeling from their earlier portraits.

A Garden Reception with Pastel Details
The reception paired wooden tables and chairs with soft pink napkins, lace runners, candlelight, and flowers. White lanterns and a lush arrangement framed the sweetheart table, while string lights stretched overhead.

Their cake by Bread Basket Cake Company brought a playful touch to the setting: white piped frosting, fresh berries, and two colorful character duck toppers. I love when a wedding includes details like this—something guests can smile at and the couple can recognize as their own.

Their first dance was to “Simply The Best” by Noah Reid. Later, the hora brought everyone together around the dance floor, with Jordan and Sara lifted on chairs beneath the reception canopy.
